Production Manager

Matt has a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from the University of Minnesota –Crookston, and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Landscape Horticulture from Dakota County Technical College.

Before joining the Midwest team, Matt worked in Minnesota as a Grower/Production Foreman at a wholesale plant nursery, and as a Horticulturist at a garden center. At Midwest, he developed several programs, including Spring Bud & Bloom; Fall Collection; Edibles & Herbs; and Winter Collection. He specializes in product development, new product releases, hydrangeas, and roses. He is an ICN Pro in Woody Plant Material; and a member of the International Plant Propagators Society, the Chicagoland Grows Woody Plant committee, and the Horticulture Program Advisory committee at Kishwaukee College in Malta, IL.
