ST. CHARLES, Ill. (April 19, 2022) – IM电竞官网下载 continues its legacy of education, inspiration and dedication to the horticulture industry through a program of three winter webinars: “21 Plants for 2022,” “Carex – The How, What, Where, & Why,” and “Taming the Wild—Natives for the Residential Landscape.” The trio of webinars was hosted by IM电竞官网下载’ Nikki Melin, Sales Operations Manager, and Shannon McEnerney, Marketing Manager.

IM电竞官网下载 collected a small donation from those attending the webinar live and donated the proceeds to a group of industry partners. Donations generated $1,680, which will be shared among IGIA, ILCA, ASLA – Illinois, and Openlands.

All three webinars are posted on the IM电竞官网下载 Youtube Channel and available to view, along with their Midwest Garden Pros video series and other educational and informative videos.

About the Beneficiaries:
The mission IGIA (Illinois Green Industry Association) is to represent, educate, promote, and protect growers and nurseries, greenhouses, garden centers and retailers, irrigation contractors, landscape professionals, and other green industry businesses.

The ILCA (Illinois Landscape Contractors Association) PAC Fund distributes funds in a bipartisan manner to legislative campaigns of those candidates who have demonstrated interest in the concerns of the landscape industry, as identified by association leadership and its lobbyists.

The American Society of Landscape Architects Illinois Chapter (ILASLA) Advocacy Fund was developed to prepare and fund legislative threats that could adversely impact our profession and future. ILASLA retains the lobbyist firm Illinois Strategies who acts as a watchdog for crucial legislation and is helping move the Landscape Architect Title Act to a Practice Act.

The mission of Openlands is to protect the natural and open spaces of northeastern Illinois and the surrounding region to ensure cleaner air and water, protect natural habitats and wildlife, and help balance and enrich our lives.
