Squill
As its name implies, Scilla siberica (originally from Siberia) is quite cold hardy (zones 5 to 8). Scilla siberica has 1/2″ dark blue flowers that hang downward on 4″ to 6″ delicate, dark stems. The flowers appear in early spring. This perennial bulb prefers full sun to part shade and well-drained soil. Planting depth: 3″ to 4″. Space bulbs 1″ to 4″ apart.
